How to Use our Face Cleansing Balm:

Take a nickel-sized amount of our Face Cleansing Balm. Gently massage onto dry skin, add water to emulsify, and rinse. Gently wipe with a clean cloth. Your skin will feel clean, soft, and perfectly balanced.

Tulsi: Its anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and antibacterial properties make it ideal for addressing skin issues such as acne and skin irritation, while its hydrating and moisturizing properties help to keep the skin looking and feeling soft, supple, and nourished.

French Green Clay: Helps draw out the impurities from your skin. Its mild exfoliating properties help reduce blemishes and tighten the skin without drying it. 

Cold-pressed Moringa Oil: Is packed with nutrients and antioxidants. This works as an anti-aging face oil as it protects against free-radical damage (responsible for premature signs of aging) and minimizes the appearance of wrinkles. 

Cardamom: Helps promote skin elasticity, protect the skin from UV damage, tone the skin and minimize the appearance of enlarged pores, and promote radiance. The uplifting aroma elevates your mood.  

Cetearyl olivate (and sorbitan olivate), Moringa Oil, Castor Oil, Stearic Acid, Cetyl Alcohol, French Green Clay, Cardamom extract, Tulsi Extract, Tocopherol, Natural preservative.

This is a balm-to-oil formula that activates when you massage it into your skin. 

  1. Grab a nickel-sized amount on dry hands and massage with your fingers until it becomes an oil. Apply to your face. 
  2. Massage on your skin for a few minutes concentrating on the areas with more makeup or impurities. 
  3. Add some water to your hands and continue massaging your face. When you add water, the balm turns into a beautiful milky texture that draws out all the makeup, dirt, and impurities in your skin.
  4. Remove with water or use a face cloth. Unveil radiant and moisturized skin. 

To complete your ritual, follow with your Hydrate Hydrosol Toners. While your skin is still a little damp, take 2 to 3 drops of yout Kaia Skin Face Oil and gently pat it onto your skin.

As an herbalist that had opened my own beauty skincare line in 1999- named Pachamama’s Wisdom, I began creating facial cleansers, healing salves, herbal oils, handmade herbal soaps and lip balms to enjoy for myself, friends + family. I have very sensitive skin which rejected most of the “natural” or “organic” products offered at that time. It took off and had a spot at Eugene’s (OR) popular Saturday Market. Since then it has still been difficult for my skin not to react to many of the facial products even everything at Whole Foods. When I tried a few of the products from Kaia Skin I was unsure how it would go for me but her knowledge of Ayurveda had me hoping these creations may respond differently than others I’d tried.
