FAQs

Kansa is a metal alloy of copper and tin, heated together to form bronze. This metal is considered the healing metal of India and has been used for centuries for its therapeutic properties.

We chose Kansa metal over the more popular Jade and Quartz due to its natural healing qualities. Unlike Jade and Quartz, Kansa is perfectly smooth in texture, making it more gentle on sensitive and acne-prone skin. Additionally, Kansa metal is antimicrobial in nature and cool to the touch, which reduces inflammation and enhances facial circulation.

The properties in the Kansa wand combined with an intentional massage can help with the following:

  • Stimulate circulation and blood flow
  • Lymphatic drainage
  • Tension Relief
  • Natural contouring

Additionally, spending an extra minute on yourself during your skincare ritual helps promote self-love, relaxation, and a deeper connection with yourself.

The shape of the GuaSha is better suited for face sculpting and decreasing inflammation. On the other hand,  the Kansa Wand is better suited for stress release and promotes energy distribution. Both tools will result in a more rested complexion.

Kansa metal is naturally antibacterial, however since you’re using it with our oils, we recommend you wipe it with a microfiber cloth and then store it in the pouch it comes in.

Absolutely! Our tools are designed to complement your existing skincare routine.
